“I love to travel. I love to be home. For many years, ‘home’ was an old mountain farm north of Asheville, NC that my husband and I bought when we moved from Maryland. We built our dream house, and my studio, on the side of the mountain overlooking our own ‘holler.’ Mountains surrounded us. There were endless trails to ride and hike.
“Whether I am exploring a mountain trail, enjoying a local festival, or traveling, I am absorbing my surroundings.”
