J Kay Gordon Galleries offers GICLEE prints
The giclee printing process is an innovation in print making technology that rivals all other technologies in archival quality and image duplication. Giclees are commonly accepted in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries. Digital technology is used to capture and print the image.
The giclees produced by the J Kay Gordon Galleries Print Shop are created with the newest Epson 8-color UltraChrome K3 ink system. The acid-free textured fine art paper that is used is a 100% cotton rag that is produced especially for Epson for art prints. Epson UltraChrome K3 ink on this paper has received exceptional permanence ratings. This process generates incredibly detailed and accurate fine art reproductions.
These prints are temporarily mounted on a foam core sheet and wrapped in a plastic covering that will protect them until they are framed.
