Old log structure on our NC mountain farm.  Dewey built this (probably sometime before 1940) for his blacksmith shop.  Neighbors told us that he also ran a “barbershop” here…and the men would gather here for card games while they were waiting for their grain to be processed at a mill on a farm across the road.
